Thanksgiving.

Im so full.

Pizza things.

When I was in Italy with Kim we got these pizza roll things that were just great. Just really great. Here’s a picture of me with one:

Cracker barrel.

You know, Cracker Barrel is a pretty good restaurant. I haven't been in a while, but I remember their She-crab soup just being really great.and they have a lot of neat furniture too.

Mlb 2k8.

I don't see why I need to get the new MLB game for Xbox. The rosters update on they're own so there is no sense in ever getting a new game again.

Teeth.

I watched this movie on Demand last night.

I don't really want to talk about it. I just.

I'm no conservative (I watched Brokeback Mountain). But movies like that should just be illegal to make. I mean. Who would think that its good for this to happen to people? I mean she just.

Backgammon.

Backgammon is a pretty great game to play on a porch. Put me on a porch with a game of backgammon and a bottle of Olde Coast and I'm a happy man.

Power saw.

My dad gave me a power saw for Christmas one year. At the time I was pretty upset, but now I think its a great gift.

Drinking.

You know, I got into this whole drinking thing late I guess. In high school I thought I was cool because I never drank anything (except like water and soda and stuff), and then in college I thought I was cool because I was drinkng and stuff. Now I don’t really think either of those things.

Freshmen year.

I didn’t always go to UVA. On freshmen year I went to CNU (that stands for Christopher Newport Univeristy. Go caps!

Anyway that year, a girl I dated broke up with me and I was pretty sad about that. That was when I grew a beard, drank a lot of Jack Daniels and listened to Modest Mouse. It was pretty silly, but look at me now!

Darts.

Throwing darts can be pretty fun. Sometimes when I'm feeling down, I throw darts in my garage. When I throw darts in my garage, I think of that Weezer song.

Rodmans.

Rodmans is pretty much the best place to eat in the world. I always go up and get two chops and a sweet tea. And if I’m feeling special I’ll get the bread pudding too.

I’m pretty proud to say that I worked there one summer. They never gave me free chops though. But that’s okay.

Facebook.

Kris updates my Facebook profile so I don't have to.

Grilling.

Now that it's starting to get warmer I really hope I can get out and grill. Nothing better than grilling for people on a summer day.

But with work I don't think I'll be able to grill as much as I want to.

The weekend.

Not really doing all that much this weekend.

Pavement.

I could basically listen to Pavement every day.

Doumars.

Doumars has great ice cream. I sure do like butter pecan.

In fact, I think I'll go to doumars for lunch today. I like to sit at the bar and sip a limeaid (Those are good too.). Its a great place to go for a man who works.

Men with purses.

When I was in Italy I saw that even the guys wore a purse. Can you imagine? Don’t they know what that makes them look like? I mean gosh.

Sex and the city.

It seems like all of these ladies are going to go see this Sex and the City movie. I don't really want to see it, but not because I don't like sex or cities, but all of the ladys are so crude.I bet they say lots of cusses in that movie, and I'm just not attracted by that. I've never heard my mom talk that way, where do they get off making ladys look like that?

Trapped in the closet.

When I was at UVA I was in a fraternity (SERP, I will talk more about that later sometime). Anyway, the guys there played a game that went along to the R. Kelly movie Trapped in the Closet.

Its not like I invented this game, but you drink every time he pulls out his gun, you see a midget, or a white person speaks. Its good fun.

Swashtikas.

Back when I was like 10 my friend Kris and I would draw swashtikas in our notebooks. We did it because we liked history classes, but we didn’t know about them being the bad guy in that war. It would be pretty much like saying that you liked terrorists or Darth Vader

We stopped doing it after we got to that in class. I feel bad about the other kids in my class who may have seen it and thought I was some sort of hate person.

My car.

I took my car down to Virginia beach today so it could get all fixed up. Those krauts sure do know how to make a car, but I wish I didn’t have to drive so dang far.

French movie.

Some French movie was on TV yesterday. I guess it was in French, I couldn’t really understand. What’s the point of showing something that isn’t in English?

The piano.

Listening to piano is really nice on a good night after dinner. I don’t know how to play but that’s because I play violin.

Haha whoa.

Looks like I took a REALLY long weekend! Haha.

Memoriel day.

Memoriel Day is a real reliable day for getting out of things like school or work. (I would know, because I have now gotten out of both). Since it is still a little to cold to swim in the pool, I might just do some grillin outside. Which I wouldnt have been able to do if it wasn't Memoriel Day.

School.

I’ve spent most of my life in school but not anymore. I am not in school right now (that’s why).

Farming.

You know if my life on the water or as a pub owner doesn’t work out maybe I’ll become a farmer. Being one with the land would be great, but I wouldn’t know where to get any. The country seems pretty full.

I also like to cut grass, and that's alot like farming.

Heh.

They arent strict with the computers here at work. We look at porn.

Dishes.

Who enjoys washing dishes? I mean really!

Chesapeake square.

The mall where I live is really crummy. When it first opened when I was 5 it was all so big and new, but now it just has rednecks and kids who like Insane Clown Posse. Did you know that people really like Insane Clown Posse? I didn’t either.

My friend Richie wrote this story where I blew up the mall. Richie wrote alot of things about me.

Weber.

The other day my friend Weber (her name is Lauren, but we call her Weber) was talking about how she saw TJ (TJ works at Bier Garden, I can't believe I didn't mention that) at the Festhouse in Busch Gardens. Weber is a dancer there and she told me that he show up again a few days later.
I mean who does that?I think hes stalking her.

I told her that and she laughed but looked scared about it. It was weird.

Chick Fil-a.

So yesterday I was in chick fil-a getting some lunch when I started talking to this girl. Her hair was really nice. i found out it was for prom, which i am way to old to go to.

Writers block.

Poker.

I saw poker on ESPN2 last night and it made me think of those times in high school I played poker with my friends. That was pretty great. I don't know why we stopped.

Knights of columbus.

I am in the Knights of Columbus (I'm Catholic), but I stopped going because all of the people I used to hang out with have died from being old. They gave me a sword that I still have.

Racism.

When I was little I thought racism was pretty cool. But then I realized that that just isn't true.

Ducks.

I used to really like ducks until I got a pool. Now all they do is swim and go to the bathroom in it. I would say its inconsiderate, but they are only ducks. They don't know any better.

My bedroom.

I don't spend a lot of time in my bedroom, but I still like it. My mom painted it red. You should see it. Thats where I'm going now.

Wong.

I haven't heard from Wong in a while. I wonder what he's doing. Probably asleep.

He's really asian, so he sleeps a lot. (I hope that is an okay thing to say on a blog).

Pickin shack.

When I was still in school I would always go to the pickin shack and play bluegrass. There were lots of old guys there. They would give you moonshine, even though I don't think they were supposed to. I know I had mentioned the pickin shack before somewhere, but I thought I would clear things up.

Violin.

I've played violin since 5th grade and I got pretty good for a while. I can still play but I mostly just like to play bluegrass. I sure wish I could go back to the pickin' shack. That place was so great.

I broke my xbox.

Driver.

So Driver got really messed up the other day by a tornado.

I don't think it was a tornado though because Driver is a really weird place. I bet a bunch of zombies came out like in the movies, and then the Suffolk milita had to come in and destroy everything. They are just saying it was a tornado so they don't scare anybody.

I know that if that was true, it would be scary.

I hope theres still Driver Days though, great peanut britle!

Another dream.

I had a dream last night that I met Stephen Malkmus in a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC as I think their called now).

He was eating chicken with his wife and singing along to the Pavement that was on radio that was inside. And I went up to him and talked about stuff and said that it was funy that he was singing along to himself.

It was probably the best dream anyone has ever had.

Lizard people.

I heard on this radio show last night that some people think that Lizard people control the world. They even say that they live underground, and that's why we never see them.

I hope that's not true. That would be so scary to know if it were true.

U2.

I was at Bier Garden the other night just sittin at the bar and drinking an Urquell and the bar started to play U2.

I told the guy next to me "Man, U2 is just not good."and he said to me "I think U2 is really great."

That was a really awkward thing that I said to him so I didn't really talk about music anymore.

Pistashios.

I love pistashios, I could just about eat them all of the time. But after a while they get kind of gross. So I guess not. Still good though.

Squirell.

So there was a squirell in my attic, which is why I thought it might be a ghost. I guess I feel pretty silly about that now.

A squirell should know better than to scare me to the Dickens. But it doesn't, and that's okay because it's a squirell.

Ghost.

This may sound weird but. I'm pretty sure there's a ghost in my house.I don't know if I should talk about it here, because. I mean. It could be like in Poletergeist. You know?

Rats.

In my old house we used to have a bit of a rat problem in the garage. I'm proud to say that I taped a flashlight to my BB gun and would go hunt them when I was bored. I feel kind of bad about killing them in retrospect. They didn't know any better.

The C. in my name stands for *C*URTIS.

So when I tell people my name. I tell them that its Michael Curtis Warren. Because thats what it is.

Oh, yeah. It is weird that my cousin's name is Curtis. But it's his first name, not his middle name. Curtis was my grandfather's name.

I jjust thought that should be put out there.

Gamepro.

When I was little I used to read Gamepro alot. They would have the best reviews done by cartoons. I think one was a frog man I'm not too sure though.

Gregory used to get Nintendo Power though. He had every issue up until 2002 when Uncle Howie threw them all away.

I think Greg is still upset about that.

Aim 2.

The best screen name I have ever seen was Gregory's when he made GregTheWarof1812. He lost the password for it right after he made it, but it was really great. Everyone should have a screen name like that.

Nuclear war.

I am really scared about Nuclear war. I know alot a bout it (I took a class about the cold war), so I know what one would be like.

And it would be really, REALLY scary.

Oatmeal.

You know, while I was eating my oatmeal (heh, I say m'oatmeal out loud), anyway, I was eating m'oatmeal (heh) and I was thinking. Who came up with oatmeal? Did someone's oats just get wet one day and they thought to eat it?

I don't know if I would eat it if I just thought it was wet oats. But I guess that's why I'm not a cook.

Old house.

I didn't always live in the house I live in now. Before I lived in a house not too far away. I still drive by it sometimes and feel kind of weird about someone else being there.

Wp.

In 8th grade I wrote WP in people's yearbooks. I am not too proud of that now.

Wow.

The O's won again. That's just great considering they really aren't very good at baseball.

I hope they keep it up instead of going back to being cruddy like usual.

High school people.

You know those people in high school that you knew but didn't really? I wonder what happened to all of them?
I hope they don't think that way about me though. Because they werent very cool people to begin with.

Cusses.

I don't like it when a lady uses cusses. It doesn't reflect well on there character. Call me old fashioned, but it can really make a girl look like a jezebelle.

Lord of the rings.

Lord of the Rings is a great bunch of movies. I read the books too, but if I'm bored I'll always watch Return of the King (rather than reading the book).

I like how Gandalf is always shouting.

Weird.

Earlier I remembered that a while back I saw REO Speedwagon at a naval base. They weren't even all that great, but it was free so I guess that's okay. That's all I remember though.

The sofa.

There's a big black leather sofa in my room over the garage. Its really nice. My mom doesn't like for people to sit on the leather. I like to bundle up and sleep on it.

One Christmas, my mom found out that Tuffy scratched it up. Brian and I had done a good job of hiding that from her for a while, but she found out. She got so mad.

April fools.

Of course Max would'nt be gay. How could I be so DUMB??

Max told me that he was gay today. I just can't believe that.

Monsters.

Can you imagine if monsters really existed? Man that would be SO SCARY.

80's partys.

If you ever have an 80s party, Michael Jackson is probably the best thing you could play. People get excited about it because Michael Jackson was really cool in the 80s. In fact, I end every party with Michael Jackson. Thriller is my favorite, but I think a lot of people like Bad.

Little league.

Last spring I really wanted to go to some little league games and just sit back and have some beer outside. Who doesnt like to drink some beer outside? But apparently you can't drink at a little league game. I don't see how these parents do it.

Comic books.

I found a box of my old comics, yesterday. It was a great feeling going through all of them. But I didn't realize that I liked Spawn so much. But I don't get it. I don't like Spawn.

I've had a lot of screennames but I've been using PoolSharkGuy20 for long time. When I made it I used to really like pool (the game), but I don't really want to get another one (even though I don't play pool anymore).

Before that I had a couple different ones like waaazzzaaa (like that commercial), Redskinhogg (I like the Redskins), WhiteB2380 (that was my first, Uncle Howie thought it was racist). I had an AOL name too that was wbviolinist, but I never talked to anyone on it.

I thought about changing it to 168lbsofPuddin, but I didn't have the heart.

The sioux.

When I was in High school I used to think that calling people an "Indian giver" was really funny. I would pretend I got hit by an arrow and yell "IT'S THE SIOUX!!!" then I would die.
I did that for the first time at Scoops (Scoops is an ice cream store, like an ice cream scoop) when this girl gave me her ice cream then took it back. So thats when I did it. Everyone laughed alot about it. Heh. I'll still do that sometimes. I think it's funny to yell stuff some times.

Lizard people.

I talked to my friend John earlier but he was really hung up on what trailer hitch to get for his truck. I dont know why he thinks I care about that.

Me and John hang out sometimes even if my friend Max (his name is Max, don't know if I mentioned that before.) is not around. We have been to the Bier Garden. A lot of people say thats weird, because he is my friend's step dad. But I don't get that.

March madness.

I don't really get into March Madness really. I tried to do a bracket last year on facebook, but I didn't do it right (It said I picked Marquette to win, how did that happen?). I wish UVA could win this year. But since they aren't in any of the games, I don't think they can. Maybe one team will get killed, and UVA can replace them. That would be a good idea for a movie

Cars.

I've driven a few cars. My first car was a green Ford Explorer that we (my friends and I) called Superman. We called him that because I backed into a really big ditch. We cleaned it up and then it worked just fine. Here's a picture of it:
After that, I drove my brother's blue Mustang, but then I backed that into a Tahoe. I drive a Jetta now. It's a sensable car for a man who works.

Omega virus.

When I was little I used to always play Omega Virus at Gregory's house. The game would always say all sorts of this mean stuff to you in a robot voice while you were playing it. It was cool. I wonder if he still has it. He probably does.

Greg always wanted me to play Heroquest with him too, which I guess is like a Lord of the Rings kind of thing. I never wanted to because it seemed like a nerd thing. I bet Greg still has that game to.

St patricks day.

I always wear green on St Patricks day even though I'm not Irish. I am Catholic though. So I guess thats something to celebrate. Even though I can't ever marry a girl who is not Catholic. I guess that makes sense though.

I know some places die there beer green. Thats a pretty fun idea, but I would never do it to a pint of Olde Coast. It would feek kind of like putting pets in halloween costumes.

Hamilton sandwich.

I don't think I've mentioned this before, but Hamilton is my cat. He just kept coming around the house so we kept him. I named him Ham Sandwich at first, but my mom didnt like that. I guess his full name would be Hamilton Sandwich then.


When we took him to the vet, we found out that Hamilton was not a boy. But we just kept the name anyway. I couldn't think of a ladys name that relates to food. She doesn't mind that she has a boys name though. A cat doesn't know any better.

Stairs.

I wonder when stairs first started. I mean, that seems like a pretty complex idea. I wouldn't think of it if I had never seen stairs before.

Gregory.

I know I have mentioned him before, but Gregory is my cousin of 23 years. He lives in Smithfield. Sometimes I take my boat to his house, its a nice trip. We also play XBox live together.

Our parents plotted our births together, but Gregory got born first. Which is okay. He is not much older than I am.

Gregory used to collect crystal dragons. I'm not sure if he wants people to know that or not though.

South park.

So new episodes started of South Park last night. I can't wait for the DVDs so I can hear the commentaries. I own all the others already.

I'm working on a ship right now and the captain's name is Dragutin. He's croatian.

The pool.

A few years ago my mom decided to put a pool in our backyard. We can't swim in it right now (since its winter) but in the summer its pretty great. Once, I watched a movie in it.

Bier garden.

I know that I have mentioned Bier Garden before and I think I should just clear things up about it. Bier Garden is where I go to get beers with friends ("Bier" is just German for "Beer"). Sometimes I go just watch some sports.

Besides the beer, they have great schnitzel bites. Mmm mmm!

Happy birthday.

Since this is my blog and all, I thought I would wish myself happy birthday. I don't feel any different. Thank god I get tonight off from work, the ships never stop coming in.

Amsterdam.

Richie told me today that Kris took a four day weekend for a second time in a month. He went to Amsterdam.

I hear the ladies there will put on a show with donkies for 30 euro. Thats awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

Wrestleing.

I used to like wrestleing a lot when I was little. My favorite was Goldberg. He was unstoppable.

The announcers would always yell WILL THE STREAK EVER END!? I think it did eventually, which is a shame.

Room over the garage.

So I spend most of my time in the room over the garage. Theres a nice couch up there and a big HDTV that I play XBox live on. If I ever say that I watched something On Demand, I did it in the room over the garage. Theres also a pool table up there that I used to use a lot. Not so much anymore. I play sometimes though.

I want to knock out a window and build a stairway that leads up here from outside. I would basically live up here.

Hungry.

I get hungry really early. But only if I eat something for breakfast. If I don't eat anything I'm fine. I ate a banana and a granola bar this morning. I'm starving now.

I guess this comes with the territory when it comes to working.

The wicker man.

I just watched The Wicker Man. Nicolas Cage was not at his best on that one.

Snack food.

My mom used to stock up on Cheez-its and IBC. But these days its mostly pretzels and goldfish. They go better with beer.

The big lebowski.

The Big Lebowski was On Demand this weekend. I watched it. It made me want to go bowling, but Gregory didn't want to go because he was grounded.

How can you be grounded when your 23?

Lame.

My coworkers think I am a hippie liberal because I said the 2nd amendment was open to interpretation. I am not, I voted for Russell Potts for Governor last election. I should have known better, to say such a thing in the river industry.

Hockey.

Watched the Capitals game at the Bier Garden last night. It was pretty great. I wish more of my friends liked hockey. Kim likes hockey.

Glasses.

I've worn glasses for a long time and I don't think I'm really tired of it. The pair I have now are Ray Bans, I don't mind saying that they look nice on me--I'm not bragging about this. You have to stick with what works when it comes to glasses, so get a pair that you really like if you need them.

Back to work.

This weekend I went to Richmond to see my brother and Kim and Richie. We hung out and watched Big Trouble in Little China. That was fun. I brought up a bottle of Olde Coast. Everyone said great things about it.

Not sure.

Still not used to leaving for work in the morning.

Baseball.

I am pretty excited for baseball season. The O's are my favorite team. I like watching their games even though I get let down every year. The Bedard trade was pretty awful, and I really hope they don't trade Brian Roberts, but it's looking that way. Oh well. I think Nick Markakis is going to have a monster year.

Work is going alright. Just trying to figure things out, its a lot to learn.

Last night.

I had a weird dream last night.

I decided to create a blog.

I went to work today and they gave me a computer. It is a laptop and has it's own docking station. That was the highlight of my day. Not quite as good as yesterday, when I handed a captain on a Chinese ship (he was Chinese as well) a big envelope stuffed with cash. I think it was drug money. Not sure.

That's about it I guess. I am going to go play Call of Duty 4 on XBox live, or maybe throw darts in my garage.
